H-Force Bulldogs

I miss my sister's family terribly since they moved to Canada, but I love getting to be involved in their lives even from so many miles away.  The nephews play hockey and the oldest is on a team they sponser called the H-Force Bulldogs.  I love the new logo!  I am in the process of working on tshirts for the team parents.  Hockey tshirts from Texas for the Canadians...ironic isn't it? 

I mailed cereal to my nephew in Canada because they can't get his favorite kind there.  He, along with his other 2 brothers, were so excited to get this that they ate it all in less than 24 hours.  I am now in the process of packing 18 boxes of cereal to ship to them.  I love those boys! 

The New Sink

I just recently had a new sink put in my bathroom.  I really like the yin/yang shape of it.  Obviously my cats do too....

Swiss Steak & Sunshine

I am day dreaming of a location that involves palm trees.  I will be in that location in 2 weeks!  In the meantime, this weekend I cooked Swiss steak (a family favorite) and spent alot of time out in the sunshine reading a book. 

Strawberry Cake

I have decided to make Paula Deen's Simply Delicious Strawberry Cake for Easter lunch at my mom & dad's.  Of course, it has lots of butter...and cream cheese...  My mouth is watering just thinking about it! 

Just Finished This

I just finished reading this amazing book by Eric Metaxas.  I didn't want it to end the way it did, even though I knew what happened in the end.  An amazing man.  The world is a better place because he was in it...even if it was for just a short while. 

Time Change

This weekend was time change.  It's not that I mind getting up when its dark outside.  It's not that I mind it staying light later in the evening.  All those things are good.  But my body just will not cooperate with the change in the spring when we lose this hour of sleep.  I really need Godiva chocolate to help me through this....
